Frequently Asked Questions

The answers to some of the most common questions we receive are found here. If you need further assistance please feel free to reach out to us.

How is my price determined?

Pricing depends on 3 main factors: product type, total number of ink colors and print placements, & total quantity of items in your order

What is the standard screen size?

IPrint’s standard screen size is 14" x 17".

What is the jumbo screen size?

IPrint’s Jumbo screen size is 18" x 23".

How do I prep the files?

All Files must be 300 DPI or a Vector File. Preferred file types are .PSD, .TIF, .EPS, .AI, .PDF, and .JPG. Design should be sized to print. Orders cannot be started until we have usable artwork.

How much are the setup fees (aka screen fees) & artwork?

Free for all basic orders! Any orders with printed or heat pressed custom tags will require setup fees of $25.00. This is not to be confused with the artwork fee which starts at $25.00 hr should you need artwork completed.

What is your turnaround time?

Typical turnaround time is 5-7 business days + shipping time. Turnaround time is only an estimate, is not guaranteed and starts when your order deposit is paid for AND we have all information to complete your job. Complex designs or orders with extra add-ons may increase turnaround time. Allow for at least 3 additional days for interior printed tags. The most up-to-date turnaround time will be listed on your quote and invoice. If you have a deadline for your order, you must let us know when placing your order and a rush fee may imply. Taking longer than 24 hours to approve your digital proofs may delay your order. Any circumstances out of IPrint’s control (ie: weather delays, shipping errors by the supplier, etc.) may also require more time and are not factored into the initial turnaround time estimate.

Do you have a minimum?

Depending on Type of print See below.

Custom Vinyl- No Minimum

Screen printing- 12 shirt minimum

DTG- 15 shirt minimum

Sublimation- No Minimum

Embroidery- 6 item minimum

Can I mix and match shirt & ink colors?

Yes. Different shirt colors are ok as long as the ink colors are the same. You must order at least 12 of each shirt color. If we need to change ink colors additional fees will apply.

Can I mix shirt sizes & do I need to order in dozens?

You can order as many different shirt sizes as you want and you DON'T have to order in dozens, unless otherwise stated. Certain brands require ordering in half dozen.

I want to print on a shirt that isn't listed.

Of course! We print on hundreds of different brands but to make it easy we only list the most popular ones. As long as we can get the blanks we will print it for you. Just drop us an email and we will see what we can do!

I'm missing a few shirts, what happened?

All orders can have up to 5% under run. Some shirts could be damaged during printing. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that you will receive 100% of the garments in your order. We strongly recommend ordering a few extras to account for this possibility. We always strive to give you everything you ordered, however, if there is a shortage with your order, we will refund or credit you for the difference.

Do I need to pay for my shirts now?

Yes. Your deposit payment must be received before your order is printed.

Can I bring my own shirts?

Sure, our minimum starts at 48 pieces depending on the artwork if you are supplying your own garments. All supplied garments must be of the same material or be able to be printed with the same method & ink types (i.e. colors, fabrics, print sizes). If you are providing your own garments, it is recommended that you supply extras if you need an exact count as we are not responsible for product misprinted or damaged during the production run.

Do you offer samples? Or can I see the first one done before you print the rest?

No, we do not offer any kind of sampling. We do however provide you with a Digital Rendering of what the final product will look like when completed. All garments run at the same time and our production department will use the customer approved proof for reference during this process. We have samples of our work as well as color swatches and material examples in our showroom. Feel free to call ahead to make an appointment for someone to meet with you and go over your concerns if you have further questions.

Do you do RUSH orders?

Absolutely! In most cases we can turn an order around in a day or sometimes even same day, depending on our production schedule and size of the order. Keep in mind there is a RUSH ORDER FEE, and it will be a percentage of the invoice total and based on the overall deadline. Call us right away if you have an order that needs a rush turn around service!

Do you provide samples for us to try on?

If you should need to take some samples back to the group to try on, just leave a deposit on your order, and we will provide you with everything you will need to get it squared away.

Can you put individual names and numbers on shirts?

Yes we can as long you are getting your company logo or team name imprinted on the shirts as well. We do not offer individual names and numbers as a stand-alone service.

Is DTG Cheaper than traditional Screen Printing?

Direct to Garment printing is more cost effective on smaller orders, especially if your design involves many colors. It is priced at a FLAT RATE, so the lack of setup and screen preparation is a savings that we pass on to our customers. However, DTG printing stops being more cost effective around the 48 piece benchmark when the fees for setup /screens average lower than the DTG flat rate. DTG T-Shirts range from $12 – $25 depending on style & print coverage.

I don’t need 24 shirts, can I do DTG instead?

Sometimes yes; the majority of the time, no! It really boils down to the artwork, product and details of your project, so please give us a call to discuss a project like this.

I ordered shirts for my staff and some of them don’t fit. How can I exchange them?

Unfortunately, you can’t. WE HAVE A NO RETURN POLICY. This is a custom industry, and all items are custom made to order. It is always best to set up an appointment if you are not sure of sizes, styles or fit for the crowd you are outfitting. If you should need to take some samples back to the group to try on, just leave a deposit on your order and we will provide you with everything you will need to get it squared away.

Can I bring my own DST file?

You sure can!! We will not charge you a digitizing fee if you already have your own DST file; however we are not responsible for the outcome and quality of the stitching should it not meet our standards.

Do you embroider school uniforms?

Yes, we embroider for school uniforms; however you cannot bring in one bag or a couple polos and have them stitched with a school logo. You would need to meet our minimums for our embroidery service which starts at 24 pieces.
The last company I used stitched my polos, and the logo curled up, can you do better? (EMB)
We always do better! There are several factors and variables that play a part in a good looking embroidered shirt. We would the take the time to ensure the quality of the stitching works on the product of your choice!

Can you do (insert crazy idea here)?

Maybe. Why don't you drop us an email and we'll see what we can do!
